Missionaries to a Generation

Countdown to Kenya

In less than 30 days, Becky and I will travel to Kenya to check on our missions projects and minister in Nairobi, Eldoret and Ugunja. This is an exciting moment for us because it is the very first time we will travel on mission at the same time and to the same country. In the past, we have been to 4 continents and 6 countries, but never together.

Our trip will be 12 days in Kenya, beginning and ending in Nairobi, where we will meet with other pastors to vision cast, and minister in new local church plant. We will spend some time ministering in a bush village just outside of Ugunja called Sikalame, where we have several pastors and churches we oversee.

The highlight of our trip will be spending time with widows, orphans and the children at Princedom School in Eldoret. We started this school a couple years ago to educate the orphans and street children. We employ several widows as cooks and teachers.

Our budget for this trip is $3500, and we currently have $1000 raised. The cost not only includes our airfare, travel, room & board, but also to purchase the following needed items:

  • Textbooks & Classroom Supplies
  • School Supplies for the Children
  • Bibles – Swahili Translation

We would love for you to partner with us on this Kingdom mission adventure. If you have a heart for missions and would like to send us, please visit our “DONATE” page at http://breatheinternational.com/donate/ to give financially. All donations are tax exempt under IRS Code 501(c)(3).

Be sure to check the “I would like to designate this donation to a specific fund.” Then select from the dropdown one of the following (see attached picture at the bottom):

  • Kenya Mission 2015 – James & Becky (Fund the overall trip)
  • Princedom School – Eldoret, Kenya (All funds will go to school)

Most importantly, please pray for us now, during and on our return. We trust God’s favor, purpose and will be done on this mission, and appreciate your partnership.
