Missionaries to a Generation

Divine Appointment

As I lay under the mosquito net listening to them buzzing all around the outside, I am so grateful for the privilege and honor to be here in Kenya. Being here helps me maintain perspective and appreciate the small things.

Today was our first day of teaching in the bush. The pastors and ministers here are often forgotten. They are unable to travel to the larger cities and attend leadership training. So we brought it to them.

There were between 35-40 in attendance today. They were like sponges, soaking every word we spoke. To insure we bridged any language and translation barriers, we had post session question and answer time. Surprisingly, they were very hungry to unpack more of the truth and provided us with very good questions. It was refreshing to see such innocence and purity in these men and women. They have not been polluted by the latest false western gospel.

In spite of some bumps alng the way, I see so clearly God’s Divine Appointment here. It is no accident I met Lawrence 5 years ago. God was preparing us for this moment and it is only the beginning of what is to come. We have 2 more days with these amazing people. Please continue to pray for us here.
